Do you have a timed street light that is always red when you come to it?!
Question: 2 blocks from my house, there is a non sensor actived, timed street light that seems to be red everytime I approach it. Does this ever happen to you? how do I break the streak of bad timing?

yes and I hate it. I always sem to hit it when its red and have to wait the three minutes for it to change

my town has no street lights
YES! There's one such light a mile down the road. Turns red even if nobody is waiting for it across the street, and stays red for about 10 seconds before turning green.
I have the same problem. Usually when I see it turn green from far away I already decide to take another route because it only stays green for about 30 seconds.
Not now but I used to live in a huge city and late one night I discovered that if you time them right and go just under the speed limit you can catch them all green.
I say look around real good and then run it.

Yes. We have several. It drives us crazy. You have to figure out the time you get there when it turns red and either leave earlier or later or do like my husband and take another way. LOL
