Sadly, as this sounds quite cocky, I do feel I am more intelligent than other people--surely not everyone though.

But in my own defense, I do feel guilty about it!

I would say that everyone is more intelligent than others and less intelligent than others.... it is a broad spectrum and you have to be somewhere in the middle, with some ahead of you and some behind......

I am more intelligent than a person addicted to drugs/alcohol, or any criminal. Other than that, am like everyone else.

What does it matter?
I think a more important bit of knowledge about someone, is what they do with the intelligence that they have.
The old adage about the janitor who cleans the surgeon's office, does his work assiduously, is on time everyday, provides for his family to the best of his ability, has no addictions nor personality disorders, leads a much more rewarding life for himself and those around him than the brain surgeon he works for; who has an income 50 times that of the janitor, but who is an alcoholic, been married 4 times, and all of his children are drug addicts. Who would you like to have a drink with, or go walking in the park for a nice relaxing stroll?
No contest. And will close by saying, that I'm content with my I.Q., whether it's higher or lower than yours, the surgeon or the janitor.
