What's the point in this?!
Question: So I work at a wood shop and I'm by myself most of the day. There are 2 brothers that own the shop but they both have other jobs and are not there very much. One is a school teacher and he comes in after school for a little while, the other one is a truck driver and I rarely ever see him. For about 3 months now some guy has been calling asking for my boss the truck driver. I don't know if it is 1, 2, or 3 guys because they all answer the phone the same way and when I say he's not there and ask for a message they say they will call back then hangup real fast. One day I finally had one give me a name, I asked who I could say was calling but still no message or phone number. I'm thinking that its salesman because a customer would have been rude with me by now and sometimes the bank or accountant calls wanting information or needs some form filled out but they always tell me who they are and they know me by name so I don't think it's either one of them. Who could it be?

Oh sounds like my job, people call all the time and ask for so and so. When i say so and so it's here can i please take a message, they say "NO" and hang up. Hmmmmmm wonder if it's the same person, that keep's on hanging up on you?....lol

Are you sure its not your boss checking that you are at work
1) he owes money,
2) he fools around with the wrong ladies;
3) Tony Soprano is after him;
4) Somebody wants him for some work.
5) it's an old friend that hasn't talked to him in years.
someone's who's mad at your boss or maybe someone who wants to piss you off

Sweetheart, that's bill collector.... They dont want to leave a message because once you get the phone number you will know and not give him the message.... Plus they are not suppose to give out certain infomation, if they do, you will know they are a collector.... Plus they dont wnat you asking any questions.... So I would tell your boss to invest in a caller Id Box or phone...
