Question: I ditched all my highschool friends when I went off to college because they were druggies. People think I'm cool and I'm class clown in all my college courses, ironically, haven't gotten invited to anything. Gonna go back to druggie friends

First off, don't go back to the druggie friends....nothing good can come of that. If you're getting known as the class clown in your courses, it may be that you're trying too hard to get noticed and impress people. Being funny is one of the easiest ways to do that, but if you feel like you always have to be "on" in class, if you're "pressing" to get laughs, then you may be coming across as a either a phony, a ditz, or someone who has to have center stage all the time.
Maybe you could try just being yourself and see what happens. You have to have a pretty good sense of humor in order to be a class clown. Let it come out when it wants to, but don't force it. Show an interest in the people around you instead of demanding their attention. I think you'll be very pleased with the results....you'll meet a lot of cool people...and you might even get a second chance from ones who had written you off.

lol, you just like people who are not neurotypical, thats all. just dont do drugs, sounds stereotypical, but i just quit weed a month ago and i feel normal now, like those people who think im cool cuz im funny.

Why just embrace change that is the only way you will succeed. Change is inevitable things will never stay the same forever. move ahead and dont look back.

Don't get frustrated .Do you think that your college friends are the end of your destination. It is a short spell and try to ignore their remarks.
Don't lose heart. When you can leave druggies , concentrate on your studies and try to come up to the top..The day you come up above them then see and enjoy their reactions.
Dude, I was you 20 years ago. You got to find a girlfriend that is cool. Or find old friend and do fun thing while talking about new issues other than drugs. You don't have to do the drug with them. Just drink or smoke but don't inhale. HAHA!!!
I was in your shoes, I choose to hang out with my high school friends while go to college. 20 years later my one friend is dead, overdose, one just moved out at 40 years old. One is doing good. I found a good pure girl (not a s**t) that didn't do drugs and party with her drinking only. What every you do try and broaden your friend base with girls, high school friends, and college friend, don't stero type people.

I'm in your shoes right now. I'm at Uni and I'm by far the youngest in my class. Cuz of my age I don't get invited out cuz I'm not old enough to get into bars etc....I considered going back to my lame a** alcoholic mates but I reckon that the longer I stick it out, the better "quality" mates I'll make in the long run. It's not worth risking your health and wellbeing just cuz you haven't been invited out by the more "mature" ppl in your class.
