Question: no but i did meet someone off the Internet earlier this year and i had to throw her out of my home because she was a mental case, she made my life hell and she was only here for 4 days, she should have been here for 2 weeks but i couldn't cope with her being here that long....i have not heard from her since and that's how I'd like it to stay...she's not normal, and neither is her family....then in August i lost my best friend suddenly and she got wind of it and turned up on the day of his funeral drunk asking me to go for a drink with her, and how long could she stay for, she'd came all the way from Scotland just to ask me that, the cheeky B... i was grieving for my friend and i she turned up on his funeral day, we had a huge fight and i sent her packing...since then i have changed my number and warned her to stay away from my house, what a bloody cheek...

No--but my sister had a similar experience with a pen pal she had for a few years.The guy was nothing like he seemed in his letters,and he was an alcoholic who said he had no money to get back to Australia (We are in the USA)...it was just a nightmare for her!
iv never had a pen pal, so i guess not.
No cant say I have hun! I guess in real life people diffrent from how they are in cyber space or via letters... we all build up an image of someone we have never met!
