so true, lost my dad to cancer,miss him and that security, moms 900 miles away , so i call her alot, and each time i feel so secure.....

I totally agree, but also I would say a loving Mom & Dad because not everybody is fortunate enough to have that like I did.
yeah but my mom and dad were divorsed and my mom was never really close and loving with us, she was good to use but never hugging kiss us and says i love you alot but im diffrent with mine im very affectionate with them tell them i love them daily, because it means alot

my parents died 3 weeks apart in 2000 - Mom on Thanksgiving Day and Dad a week before Christmas.
It was a pretty awful time.
I think no matter how old we are, if we had good parents we loved, then we are always children when it come to them,...i miss them sometimes like the little girl i once was.

I never had the security of mom, and my dad took his life when I was fifteen. I was also an only child so I find more security in myself.
