You are right, people should be themselves, but I think they lie because, no one wants to hurt the others feelings. : )
Not sure. I don't lie in relationships--I lay it all out there and I don't accept anything less from others.
Yes, I suppose some people feel theyre pushed into being dishonest, there are two sides to every story.
Okay UMm Some people may feel the need to lie in a relationship because they don't want to hurt their boyfriend/girlfriend feelings.Even though telling them a lie just makes things worse but you know what they say; "The truth hurts". But being more upfront with them is better, because if the other person finds out you're lying they will stop trusting you and eventually the relationship might fall apart.
I agree with you and I have been trying to figure it out myself
so that they dont have to hurt your feelings and to not get you mad.
It's because they don't love themselves and feel that the other person won't love them if they knew who they really were.
