Answers: If so, where are you from. Thanks!

I pick up others accents very easily - I'm an Aussie so of course usually my speech is without accent!!!

Only when I want to.

It depens which language I'm taking....French? English? Spanish? Italian?

No I dont. But my friend has an accent and it sounds british and african and hes from south africa

Someone else might think so, but I don't. I'm from Pennsylvania.

Don't we all? The way we sound to others depends on how far away we are from our home environment.

Yes. I don't pronounce my "R"s.

Go pahk the cah.

North East of England. Put on posh geordie. you know you kna!

yes

Yea, it's called "Ghetto American" with a hint of "attitude" :-)

Everyone has an accent. It doesn't matter where you're from. If you talk to someone from somewhere different than you, they're going to think you have an accent.

yes i am fom Liverpool and i have the accent...not as broad as the city people but i do have the accent....

Kind of I am from Wisconsin I have been told we draw out our O's Like Booat

I dont think I do but every once in a while I notice that I do say a few things in a New Yawker style, lol.

Well I'm from the USA and now living in Canada and some Canadians think I have one!! LOL It's funny. My hubby's has disappeared probably cause we've been together for 4 years now. :)

yes, texas

Yes, Ive been told I have. I'm from Serbia.

Yes,southern!

The neutral point, where there is no accent, in the USA, is considered in the midwest, Chicago to Madison Wisconsin.

At least that is what TV and radio announcers believe.

Good broadcasters are urged to move to Chicago or Rockford or Madison for a couple of years to lose their accent.

I was born and raised in Chicago, on the far northwest corner of the city, and I've met people when I was in the Navy in San Diego who told me I had a Chicago accent even before I told them where I was from.

I can tell a New Joisey or a Booklyn accent a mile away, but to me all New York area accents sound the same.

Those from New Joisey would be insulted if you told them they sounded like they were from Booklyn.

There is no letta "R" in the alphabet of anyone who lives in or between New Joisey and Boston.

And those Boston folks love their Wed Sox.

My friend from New Joisey told me he had a daughta named Jennifa.

Pasta Aaaaat

I am from Dallas.
I am black.
I don't sound like black Dallasites.
I sound like a newscaster.
I got picked on alot because of it.
Everybody assumes I'm white on the phone.
The fact that my name is Rebecca doesn't help, either.
People think I have a bunch of white friends.
No one thinks I'm from here.
No one thinks I'm from Oak Cliff.

Yes, I have an English Accent.
