Is it worth asking questions just to get violations or should i just give up on !
Question: I got my first yesterday. No reason given. No idea what I did wrong.
I cared for about 5 seconds.
Keep on asking- but there's no point trying to get violations... they're too easy to get without trying!
Besides, if they bumped you out, where would you go? What could replace this? And..
I'd miss you as would a lot of others.

UPDATE: Apparently I was 'chatting'. My q with 'Has anyone ever met (nickname)' and it was deleted. HOWEVER I did a search and apparently 33,411 other questions that began the same way were not chat!!!!!!!!!

Hey sweetie, sounds like you've had a run in with those slimy, wormy little trolls ...................... of course it's worth asking question, fight the violations though and don't let the bullies scare you off !! That's all they are you know, big yucky bullies. Thing is, we didn't leave the bullies behind in grade school or even high school ..................... there's bullies everywhere and you just need to stand up for yourself girlfriend and fight the violation soon as it happens.
Anyways, I looked at your questions and couldn't see anything out of place ........................ chin up mate, just try and ignore them.

Save your questions for something you really want to know. Only take the penalty if the issue is really important to you. Otherwise, answer other people's questions and continue to build points. That's my strategy. Guess what?? Answering your question takes me to level 2! Hooray!!!

I recently lost my level 7 account that had over 100,000 points over nothing but, hey, I'm back! If we quit and run, we let "them" win! Remember, all it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.
Stay and fight the good fight then, if they delete your account as they did mine, just create a new one. It works for Buk, it works for me, it can work for you.
And if that naughty jmensan2 reports you, then I'll deal with him. Sounds like somebody needs a spanking...
That is one thing you will find about violations and Yahoo.

Their guidelines are very loosely based and basically if followed nearly every question and answer would be a violation.
Imagine I have seen an answer where the C--- word was used and not deleted for days and in one question I used the good old Aussie expletive BL---- and it was deleted within hours.
When you post a question you really have to have a good look at it and ensure that it is within their guidelines as closely as possible.

Many have been having their accounts shut down because of the topics they choose.
There are some of the yahoo community volunteers who are point gaming and trying to get rid of points of view with which they differ. They are busily violating the community guidelines by filing bogus abuse reports and shutting down accounts.
Many of the best people have already left in disgust.
