Oh no! Rob and I have been *calling* each other in the middle of the night just to ask if we wanted to chat for 5 min.... Well, the time difference (9 hours) works against us, of course, but neither of us minded being woken up just to hear the words "I love you"..... Luckily, very soon we'll be together and we'll be able to forget all about cell phones, text messages, etc etc (yeah!!)
It's incredibly romantic and sweet and don't listen to anybody who says it's foolish!
