Usually the heart. But now, I am gonna go with my head. It pays off to be rational. I have made so many foolish mistakes trying to follow my heart. And for what? To get it stomped on time and time again?

try to weigh things and see which one has the more pros. If still, you go with the one with more cons - then visualize the possible consequences.. your head is above your heart so that you'll use it first.. -- easier said than done, but it might do you good somehow..
I smoke a bowl chill out and sleep on it. Your brain can come up with the answer as you sleep and the first thing you think is usually the best answer. Overthinking something is no good

Good query...I typically do what my heart tells me...in 37 years it hasn't steered me wrong...yet! But I have to ask...what controls your heart? Your head? One thing I often live by is:
