Serious question: Has anyone had withdrawl symptoms from marijuana?!

Question: Serious question: Has anyone had withdrawl symptoms from marijuana?
My guy and I are going to stop smoking pot simply because it costs too much money and we believe it makes us lack motivation to do things with our life, we are both 19. Has anyone had any withdrawl symptoms when they stopped, physical, mentally, emotionally? Thanks for the input. Pls serious answers only, i don't need stupid ppl saying its bad for me.

No, because its all mental. You'll get some serious irritability and trouble sleeping, but no physical withdrawal symptoms.

Get better drugz

not possible, unless mentally unstable.

You'll miss it, but that's about it :P

it is not as hard as you might think,I quit a few times for months at a time there are no withdrawls however sometimes after a really bad day I long for that relaxing feeling, but a hot bath and holding my girl makes up for it....good luck

You'll be able to react much faster and your short term memory will be missed. You'll also be able to react much faster.

There are no physical withdrawal symptoms. Fact.

Edit: To the answerer below me, you can not even get head aches from weed withdrawal.

This is so weird you're asking this. Yesterday was day #1 for my boyfriend stopping for a while. He is saying that it is really hard. It's hard for him because it was like a daily habit for him, like if he was bored that is what he would do. But now he'd be bored and doesn't have anything to do and wants to go back to it. He gets headaches (as do I, I have had a continuous headache for a week now, and I think it's from quitting), is irritable, and can't get marijuana off of his mind. He say's it's hard but he's sticking it out. I hope you can stop, I know it's hard!

here's a serious answer for ya - i have personally gone through this myself and people laughed at me when i said i had withdrawals or if i said i was addicted. i stopped 9 months ago and it was the best thing i ever did. i actually accomplish things now. i missed it cuz it calms me but i did have very vivid dreams for about 2 weeks and i was extremely tired with no motivation - it gets better though and is worth it

I have smoked marijuana on and off for the last 31 years. I have stopped for various reasons many different times with the longest period about 3 years. I usually feel a little more easily aggravated for a few days after I stop but only for a couple days. The actual craving for smoking it usually goes away within 2--3 days. I have never had DT's or gotten sick after quitting. The withdrawal from marijuana is much more mental than physical. If it stops your motivation then you are doing the right thing. You may find in a few years that you can enjoy it on occasions and not be addicted to it. Good Luck

No real physical side effects except. You might have a little trouble sleeping but that will be because you will be getting more oxygen in your blood and have more energy. Maybe a little nervousness because you are used to being relaxed but if you stay busy and don't think about it you won't have any problems. You could always do what I did, make a pact that if either one of you get cravings, go somewhere private and have sex. That was the best part of quitting, well besides not losing my job and starving my family.

Absolutely not and I've smoked a ton of it in my life--just not recently. As you said, the price is just prohabitive now.
