You'd be surprised to find lots of ancient perfumes in antique stores. Even some not so old.
I found "Tatiana", "Enjoli", "White Shoulders" and "Tabu".
Remember "Babe"? Very '70's!
I have a vial of "Evening in Paris" sitting on my vintage mirrored vanity right now. It is very attractive in its blue glass with tassel, and I keep it there just for looks. I never had any as a youngster; I think it was slightly before my time (I was a Chantilly 70's girl, rather than an "Evening in Paris" 60's girl (my mother-in-law laughed when she saw it and said she remembered it from the 60's), and I had a tiny vial of Chanel No. 5 that I used to shepherd carefully and use only on very special occasions.). All this was before I opted for essential oil mixes in the 80's and 90's
I remember my grandmother wore" soir de paris "as she so grandly called it .Sounded grand then , fond memories.Nice question.
May be one with a very sensitive nose will.
I do. I'm very allergy to smell. I can still remember a very offensive smell of a perfume worn by an ex- colleague nearly 20 years ago. Afew weeks ago my husband wore a perfume of the same smell and I told him it was the same smell I hated so much. So he stopped using it.
