Question: I am both.
Kind when it's necessary but also selfish sometimes.
For example, I would buy the last two packets of Tim Tams in the store before anyone else could (selfishness) and then I would share them with my family and friends (kindness).

I used to be selfish. But then i had kids, which means i no longer have the choice of being selfish. I have to put them above me, that's what makes me a good parent
