Well there is a difference you can have a clean house that is messed up, and you can have a dirty house that looks clean, because every thing is in its place.......I like a really clean house, and to me that means....CLEAN SHEETS ON THE BEDS, SPARKING CLEAN DISHES NO GERMS IN THE BATHROOM but when my grandson is here, the vacuum is in the living room, because he like to VACUUM,even though its not plugged in, he drags it all through the house, and I have a MILLION TRUCKS in my house, and riding toys,,,,,,and my house looks very lived in....but I know its CLEAN

Like it clean but also like it to feel lived in....
even a house thats been lived in can be cleaned up lol .... for me to feel truly comfy it not only has to be clean ... but also personalised

I like a neat and orderly house, and that is the way I keep it.
clean - it drives me nuts when things are out of place
My house looks like no one lives here.
I have a weekly maid service.....and then I'm always making things tidy.
"Lived in", can't be comfortable if it's too clean.
It has to be a clean house! So youll now for sure no one is buried there LOL

i like it to feel like home but i do not like it messy. i am a stay at home wife so i do clean a lot . i have gotten to where i am not driving my husband crazy anymore about how perfect i want my house.i want people to feel comfortable in my house.
i agree with silver. my house is clean, but also lived in. guests do not have to worry about sitting anywhere or taking their shoes off.
I like my house clean,
it doesn't have to sparkle.
I want my house to be somewhere that my grandchildren can come into and not be afraid if they spill something.
yeah i like a sparkly house only lived in if its me alone i can take my own mess cause its usually only some shoes not put away one glass on the counter etc as supposed to"other" people terds of mess!

Clean, I can't feel relaxed if my house is a pig sty.
I like my house to be clean, especially the kitchen and bathroom but I like the house to looked lived in as it feels homely.

Definitely "lived in". Our house is comfy and cosy and cluttered and untidy. It is clean though!

Spotless but lived in!
One of my friend's houses is like a show house and when I go round I'm frightened of sitting on the couch in case I crease it and I'd never dream of moving a cushion!
Luckily we are very close so I laugh with her about it but there's no way I could live like that.
