all of the above, excepting number 1! except that it would be hard to use bowS and arrows, as you usually use only one bow to shoot with... now, you can shoot multiple arrows from one long-bows haft, but that's another story.....

I'd prefer being in the war where people use bows & arrows or spears. Either one would show both talent & coordination. Better than current guns, that any nitwit can use!

The Zulu, had two spears, one short to stab, one long to throw.
If the warier lost his short spear, he would be considered a coward and would be executed.
If he had a wound on his back, would be considered a coward and would die.
The Zulu's marched through out Africa, creating problems you have today, with different tribes.
