They probably want to explain in great detail the trouble in the relationship so that they can get more informed answers here...Is easier to give a better answer with more information given in the question
Yes. Something like: My boyfriend dislikes sex, what should I do
Or: My boyfriend is suffering of necrophilia, what should I do?
And so on....
Haha I know what you mean. Sometimes I just can't bear to read those long stories.
It's so they can describe in depth their problem, and so others can give them advice that is directly for the purpose of helping them with the problem. If I just asked a question like, "Why is it blue?" and nothing else, no one would know what I was talking about. But if I added that I meant the sky, then people would be able to give me a better answer, one that applies to my situation (maybe I needed to know why for school or something).
I haven't seen any short questions about relationships. It is because the more detail they go into the better answers they get and also the less answers they get. No one wants to read that long story.
