How do you feel about Vegetarians?!

Question: Do they make a good point about the harsh conditions of animal herding? Is it true we shouldn't eat animal? Its immoral?

or

Is it part of nature? Humans really started to evolve and become smart after they created fire and started cooking their meats.

Whats your take on it? Eating animals who were once alive. Bueno or No bueno?

this is a hard question to answer. i'm not a vegetarian. i do eat some meat (ie turkey/chicken) but it has to follow certain rules. i can't even think of the animal when i'm eating meat. i can't see any blood veins, be on the bone, or even be a thick piece of meat. yuck! i don't agree with the harsh conditions. i was handed a flyer recently which had graphic pictures of slaughter houses. the process and everything. it was cruel! not even an animal whose going to be eaten deserves that kind of pain. i understand it's part of nature. yes, we did begin to evolve when they realized they could cook meat. i try not to force any of my weird eating habits on anyone. i don't criticize when people eat steak or bacon. but, i refuse to touch it. i have respect for those who are true vegetarians. that takes a lot of dedication. just my thoughts.

I feel....like eating a cheeseburger.

I think they have a right to eat whatever they want, just like I do.

what ever floats ur boat

They had a right to their opinion.

If I want meat, then I eat meat.

It's part of the human process, the only thing wrong with vegetarians is that it's not totally healthy for them it will eventually rot they're teeth. and then if they do decide to eat meat one day they can get ill from the iron in the meat...

Pretty good, they taste like chicken

To each his own.

Like the bumper sticker says, If we're not supposed to eat animals, why are they made of meat?

Ok , they are totally free of their own lives , though I disagree ...!

and I disagree more with anti-Vegetarians , some of them are not even choosing it ... my youngest Uncle can't bear seeing meat , he would turn green and vomit at once ... though he was once -as a kid- cruel to all kind of animals ... guess he is still ... !

Maybe admiration how they eat that food. I try once and I really don't like that kind of food. But everyone do what considers better!!

well, some people feel eating animals is a bad thing because it's sorta like killing. i have two aunts that are vegetarians. one feels it's kinda wrong to eat animals and the other wants to stay healthy.

It's a personal choice.I do eat meat, but not everyday. If I lived in times where I had to slaughter my own,I'd be a vegetarian.

I think its natural to eat meat, obviously because vegetarians have to take a lot of supplements to attain a healthy diet and get things they can't normally get with out animals. while I do agree with the eating of meat.. I do think that the animals are treated harshly... I wish things were better for them. Also another down side to being a vegetarian is a lot of them have an iron deficiency and bruise easily.. that's never fun.

I've been a vegetarian for 27 years. (Since the 7th grade.)

As a vegetarian, I think vegetarians and vegans are great! I am vegetarian for several reasons: I grew up on a farm and didn't like the fact that I often ended up eating my pets, I don't like the taste and texture of meat, and I do feel that factory farming is cruel. Now, with the introduction of cloned meats in our supermarkets (you've probably already eaten it), I feel that's yet another reason to be a vegetarian.

However, I do feel it's a personal choice, and I don't "speak badly" of people who eat meat.

(I don't have an iron deficiency, don't take too many supplements, and don't bruise easily. And, my teeth are just fine. Look, Ma, no cavities!)

they shouldn't eat seafood either!
personally, eating veggies is like eating meat!
they both have pros and cons. humans need to eat..
( plants have the right to live as well as animals)

Stupid. Cause they're just wasting the animal

I am vegetarian, I know that eating plants is also eating another life form. But the big difference is the art and humane. For example if you are to excute a criminal would you give him a short and painless death or would you torture and made in die slowly and misery? Just like that you have to eat, but would you rather eat the creature that you plant on the ground and pick up and eat it OR would you rather eat the creature that bleeds, scream, and feel pain. Which one do you think is more humane?

I never really thought about it. I mean I wouldn't do it and I'm not. But they have a right to do what they do and eat what they eat. They should do what THEY themselves think is right and not what others think is right.

I am not a vegetarian. I personally really like eating meat (hamburgers, chicken, steak, etc.), but I don't think it's wrong if someone chooses to be a vegetarian. It's a personal decision. The problem comes in when people start pushing their views on others. I'm not gonna judge someone for NOT eating meat, and I don't want to be judged since I do eat meat. Everyone has different likes and dislikes and should not be judged for it.

Its OK to eat meat,

I was a vegetarian for 14 years and simply didn't make a big deal out of it. I never asked for anything special be prepared for me, I just ate what I could. Not one single person EVER said to me, "Hey, what's up, you aren't eating any of the meat.". I ordered salad's or egg salad sandwich's when I went out. At holiday dinners, I ate all the 'go with it's' which have always been my favorite things anyway. I never hid it, just didn't make a fuss, like, "Hey treat me special 'cause I'm a non-meat eater.

This is a personal choice, not a political one. I now eat meat and love a good double cheeseburger. But mostly I eat it as I side dish about 3 times every tow weeks. lol!

I'm ok with them as long as they dont push their beliefs on me.

Eatings animals is generally good for evolution. The protein from that consumption helped us get bigger brains and muscles. Most plants cant do that for people

It's part of nature.
