Do you think Christmas is overrated?!

Question: I think people spend entirely too much money and that's not what it's about or is it???

You are right. There is to much emphasis on material and getting. And, No, that is not what it is about. It is a season of giving, but necessarily of things. Your time and love is what is supposed to be the main gift.

no

Um, no.

Jesus is the reason for the season.

I think Christmas is over-commercialized.

The retailers went right from Halloween to Christmas, completely forgetting about Thanksgiving day.

i know what you mean/ everyone doesnt know the meaning of christmas anymore.....some it's all about money, how many gifts they get.............

It's over commercialized.

I loathe Christmas.

I have NEVER bought anyone a Christmas gift and never will.

if you are a Christin then yes there is more to it then that

but for me its just another day to have fun and get cool gifts
well got to go good bye

over priced.i love the spirit of xmas, but the meaning is almost gone and the toy catalogues dont help.I have 2 boys, now one knows the bible storys and the other says its for pressys. They both go to school scripture class, but one is ok,and the other hates it..Its starts within the home, where your beliiefs lie and how much you give and how you react when you get a return or if any...have a nice xmas...cheers

Christmas itself isn't overrated, it's everything else that the modern world has forced us to believe Christmas is about that's overrated. : )

yes.

its too commercialized, but then again, i dont get affected by what i see outside my home, inside my house we celebrate it humbly and practically.

No that is not what it is about! I cant stand the retail rush associated with Christmas!
