Question: I just think if you have to emotionally blackmail someone to get what you want then even if you manage it, you're not going to be able to enjoy it because it wasn't given willingly. That's how I would feel anyway.

If I have to sink low to get what I want, then I don't want it or need it. I would never blackmail anyone. I think that's pathetic, really.
EDIT: I would never use blackmail to get what I want from my husband. It's just not how I am.
Moral blackmail never works and it never does to grovel, however tempting it may seem. The best thing to do is to write a letter, let it all hang out and then tear the letter up. I've done this and it's quite therapeutic. But never, ever post it!
