Question: When people get on yahoo answers saying they are poor and broke... and are asking where they can get free food and christmas gifts for their kids...the way i look at is if you are that poor then why do you have a computer and internet, sale the comp and buy your kids a gift and food...does anyone else agree with me

Hello if you are poor why ask for $ on the internet. If you have a pc and internet service you should have the $ to buy food. I like to help needy people but don't try to take advantage of me. Hey I'm not dumb. Go to get a job.

yes. I agree. I know there are people who really need help, but I know more people who take advantage of others generosity
I agree....I got burned on some Christmas charities and will give directly to a needy person, but will never give to charity again. A girl who worked with me cried because she had to put her kids in for a charity at Christmas....we got together at work and "adopted" her kids. She found out her kids were sponsored, and was glad because she only had $500 to spend on each kid....I was furious! I don't spend that much on my family, and she is asking for charity???? NEVER AGAIN!!!
Yea it bothers me too. It is the same when someone complains about not having money for food and the neccessities, but as they are complaining they are buying how many packs of cigerettes and cases of beer.
