Just this minute. I've only just stolen this laptop off a commuter.
well i get washed and dressed then turn it on other wise i will sit hear till gone 2 then get washed and dressed. my bf goes on his laptop soon as he wakes up. it get on my nerves really.
straight away, i leave it scan before i actually use it.
It never happened to me as I always turn my computer off... And even so I only sleep a few hours later... ^_^
On my day of from work as soon as I get out of bed it's the third thing that I do. So usually within five minutes of waking up.

About 2 hrs. Only turn them on in work. Hate these things. No harm to any of you but I think the internet is really crap.

at least 9 hours.. i have to go to work from 8.30 to 5.30.. and i dont get time to go on the net at work
My son playing Tribe wars so ... he is turning comp in 30 sec after waking up (just enough time to get downstairs)
Within seconds of getting up- the computer room down the hall between my bedroom and the loo ( its 5:17am here) so its first thing
My fiancé turned it on for me :)

Mine almost never gets shut off, I don't really sleep just usually the little 1 or 2 hour naps.
After about 2hrs..then I'll go to work.
my computer stays on all night
nowadays, not very long. if my mum wasn't around, i'd turn it on almost immediately after i stretched myself in bed and tossing and turning.
within an hour after waking up at least, if i'm not heading out for the day. wake up, brush teeth and showered, fill the tank (food), gear up (get a drink and snacks on standby beside me), and zzzzooooooommmm!!
20 minutes....
on my way to the kitchen i turn mine on lol sooooo attached to you all :)
i woke up at 06:30
i turned my computer on at 08:15
