What does a photo instead of avatar say to you?!
Question: Are they confident (the not so attractive people), single and looking for someone special(the ones that are attractive and have big boobs)

I use a photo of myself because I have nothing to hide and cannot see the point of hiding behind a cartoon character and
the silly names these people use to hide their real persona.
That the person thinks avatars are naff.
Or, in the case of a few weird girls, they want guys to hit on them.
I thought about putting my photo on here but I decided to stay with the good ole Mullet Head. I don't think it says anything about anyone. People like using their own pictures, well then good for them!
I don't care.
It means they have a 360 page setup.

Ummm no preference really, I like the avatars, you can make them festive & cute, I also like the photos.
I'm not fussy but each to their own.
To me it says they know more about computers than I do. I don't care for some of the photos, though. I like the avatars best. Not the shaded head dudes, though.
i have my photo up cos i couldnt find a cartoon avatar that looked like me and it peed me off..obv its nice when you get compliments off it but when ppl dont liek your question or answer it gives them the advatage to make nasty comments about your apperence which isnt nice.
Maybe some people like their photo up. I don't. That's why I use Henry Spencer from Eraserhead. I'm not here to pick up anyone, so who cares what I look like.
when you show a photo that means you are not afraid of showing people who you are, even when I know that people don't like me, I still show my photo because I know that there is some people out there that makes aveators a lil to exotic to be real, and sometimes they make themselfs look like someone they are not. so a true photo shows who you are and your personality.
when you show your big boobs that only means you have big boobs who cares its not like we are ever going to get to play with them. yeah if you are looking for someone post it up and on your page state you are looking for someone, but yeah boobs and naked girls only will turn guys on and then end up doing the nasty either with or without a girl, ewwwwwwwwwwww I prefure my girl
I would say that i am pretty confident but i would never put a picture of myself on the net anywhere no matter what site it was. I have always thought that the people who do that are out to pull or something like that.
I use pictures that represent my mood.
My real pic is on 360.
the photos of boobs or butts I figure are not really them
beyond the boring personal photos, i think the other photos are more creative than just picking an avatar from Yahell

May be that I am naive, but it really says nothing to me...Everyone has their preference...Who am I to judge anyone by the avatar they use?
I am married and not looking nor not seeking attention...here at Q & A as a form of relaxation and to give sincere answers...it is my preference and am comfortable as long as hubby does not object to my using my face as avatar. :)
A photo of choice seems alright to me, although some people do seem to be cruising for business as it were. To be honest, I think most of the avatars tend to have an oddly hostile, sly look about them! I'm not blaming the people who've made them, it's just the way the options are. I also sometimes wonder how much they actually resemble the real person behind them too.
