Question: I like it, truth be told, my two best friends are gorgeous and sometimes it makes me feel like the ugly duckling of the bunch.
So when somebody pays me a compliment, it makes me feel like a million bucks.
Do you accept compliments graciously or do you shyly refuse to believe the person is being honest, and deny them the pleasure of enjoying their intent to make you feel good?

i love getting compliments too. though, i get them all the time so i don't know what being an 'ugly ducking' is. i always smile warmly and nod my head and say 'thank you so much.' :-)
I honestly never know how to take them, so I make it a joke. I dont get shy or not believe them I just get uncomfortable and never know how to respond.

I'm not good at accepting compliments, I always feel the person is full of it or just being nice, but I try to politely say "thank you" or "that's kind of you to say" anyway.

And I give lotsa good compliments (wait...thumbs up and best answers DO count as compliments , right?) i used to be shy about it, but it makes people feel good to make other's feel good..so i accept it graciously even if i don't agree.
