yes, i'm very stingy with stars. i only use them on my very favorite questions that i wanna make sure i never forget. for example, i've answered 1811 questions and i've only given 36 of them stars.

I only give stars if I think the question is genuine and interesting, or if I don't know the answer... But that's just me.
