What if u were a actor and u had to play a part where.....?!

Question: the director wanted u to make out w/ somebody who was the same sex as u? would u do it or tell them no f*ckin way. even if it was a good director u had worked w/ before and a big budget film where u were gonna make millions and maybe win an oscar??

I think I would... gulp. I say that now, but maybe not. I mean, the idea really kind grosses me out, but... that's a lot of money!!! Yeah, I think I'd do it.

But that's already been done. Cruel Intentions..sound familiar?

I don't think I could do it. I know it's just acting but I would feel to weird. If it was say just a kiss and not full on sexual reenactment, maybe I could.

consider this, dude: what about all the gay actors/actresses who had to play "straight" roles. I'm sure they had to feel the same way. If you're gonna be in the business, you'd better be in the business.

No way. Couldn't compromise. I'm not rich now or anything... far from. But think about the fact of when you watched that movie for yourself. Call it "acting" if you want, but you would have to "really" perform. How do the millions in your pocket feel when you realize that you just compromised on your own values for $$. Some things may be worth selling out for. But for me, that's not one.

Umm I kiss other girls as often as I can...lol...and being paid for it and winning an oscar would be a plus !
lol

Ehhh.... if were talking trillions maybe! hmmm... =/

It depends on how far it goes. I wouldnt do no porn but I could handle kissing and hugging.

100% yes! why not? are you really that homophobic? it is an amazing opportunity to get into the mindset and character of someone that is different than you. plenty of great actors have taken these parts bc of the challenge that comes in the role. the challenge is what makes people worthy of an oscar. thats why pretty girls always win when they play some dirty unsexual characters (ex: scarlet johanson). there are some things that straight men can pull off but gay men cant. like if brokeback mountain starred two real life gay guys, no one would have gone to see it but since they were straight it made it attractive. Same with Will and Grace. Will is not gay in real life and Jack refuses to tell if he is gay in real life bc he said that it would be a double edged sword. if he says that he is gay then everyone will say that he doesnt deserve to be rewarded for acting like himself, and if he says he is straight then everyone will say that he is overacting...

A good actor shouldnt limit him/herself bc they are uncomfortable with the character an actors job is to understand that character and become it.
