10 yrs. ago I stop messing around w/illicit junk and stop drinking, best decision I haver made,I`m more responsible in the way I do things or the way I look at life.Plus I keep money in my pocket and the BANK.

Learning to play guitar. It's given me so much pleasure and made me quite bit of money too.

I am very bad with numbers. I was at my last year or college and I'd taken 4 math classes but never finished them. So on my last year a profesor, who was a jerk, wanted to flunk me so I screamed at him in front of the whole class and told him how horrible he was and How I hated the way he was teaching math. Later he gave me like a thrid grade math test I pass the class with C.

i decided to continue my studies & it helped me a lot.

This brings back some old thoughts. I was released from the army just after the last war and was travelling home on a bus from the station. The conductor was a man I remember from my school days and he remembered me. If you think about it, I left school at 15 and was in the army at 17 years. He obviously knew I had just been demobbed and said, 'what are you going to do now lad' following that with, 'why don't you come on the buses'. I wanted being a tall lad to go into the Police but I thought about it and found out that a London bus conductor earned two and sixpence a week more then a Police man, so I became a bus conductor. I studied Public Transport and what have you and over a period of years became an Operating Manager. The changes in my life from a conductor to a Manager must be obvious and I still enjoy the benefits. Thank you for bringing this all back to me

To throw my ex out in April.

For almost eight years I stood his beatings because I was too frightened to stand up and be counted. We were as thick as thieves emotionally, financially and physically.

He came back in April and nearly killed me one night. He hit me so hard, the Tag watch I had bought him one Christmas flew off his arm and he never even noticed he was in such a fury. I asked him to go the next day...and he went. I locked the door on his sorry *** and will never look back.

It has been awful trying to make one wage do what two did and I am frightened every day of what the future will bring but I said it then, I will say it now and I will say it every single day...

Throwing him out was THE best days work I EVER did.

I can start living now.
