Does it irritate you to hear people complaining about the Holidays?!
Question: I really enjoy everyday between Halloween and New Years...A LOT!
It irritates me to no end to hear people complaining about Capitalism ...
It doesn't HAVE to be that way...it doesn't have to be just about spending money/giving/getting gifts....
My kids and I love the whole atmosphere....we spend a lot of time listening to Christmas music, watching the Christmas programs on TV.....we hang out in my moms kitchen for two days, baking cookies and breads...we LOVE to drive around and look at all the Holiday displays in peoples yards....we take our time putting up decorations in our house....we take the cookies and things we make and give them to all our neighbors...every year my kids make more gifts to give then buy store-bought gifts....the whole Season is about so much more....its about celebrating *THE* birth that gave us life...and spreading that joy to others.....

I totally agree with you!! People seem to miss the point it's not about the buying and crowds its about being with love ones and enjoying the wonderful holiday season. What a shame that people can't stop complaining and just enjoy it.
