For jobs that do random drug testing, how often do they normally do it?!
Question: It costs the company a pretty good amount to have someone tested so they normally only test if you give them a reason to. Just don't give them a reason to think you do drugs and you should be fine.
Also...I don't know if you want or need this info, but they make some stuff you can carry around with you. It's tiny crystals that you can put in the specimen to clean it out.

you never know, that's why it's called random.
places I've worked usually budgeted the funds to test X number of workers every 6 months. the people that are tested are randomly drawn from a list of names.
I don't think there is a regular routine.. thats why its called random....

Well the key word being "random" no one really knows when they're going to be tested. I've heard it's done by social security numbers at alot of businesses but other than that I'm not sure.

my company participates in a federally mandated program (for certain industries)... they select randomly from our "pool" of employees four times a year. the dates are not set. they just have to fall somewhere within the quarter.
it will be a Monday after a holiday weekend...in CA the co. has to have you sign a document first...did sign one in Eagen MN once...for Northwest
