1 JUNE 2007, the day I retired, my Dr called that afternoon to inform me I had Prostate Cancer.

What a start to a long and restful retirement.

Had surgery July 23rd and all is well after 6 weeks of recovery time. I feel great.

That I'll probably have to go through fertility treatments to have children.

: )

my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer and alziermers disease in the same day.I know that wasnt my news but it deeply affected me

The worst thing I ever heard from a doctor, personally was that my collar bone was broken when i thought it was dislocated and i couldn't play in the championship game of my last year on a basketball team

My 11 year old says the worst thing she has ever heard from the Dr. is that she would have to have her tonsils taken out.

My mother says the worst thing she has ever heard from the Dr. is that they were going to have to cut her leg off.

The worst thing my dad has ever heard from the Dr. is there's nothing wrong with you. LOL

The worst thing I heard from my councelor was that one of our best friends had been killed in an automobile accident and that my mother was still trapped in the car.

My mother's Brain Cancer that had spread from the lungs to the lymph nodes to the kidneys. No good way to look at it.

we had just left the hospital to get some dinner and the dr. called to tell us my mother died shortly after we left.

That I needed surgery. I fainted.

When I was pregnant with my 7 years old daughter,I was extremely dehydrated cause I couldn't hold any food down,It finally got better on my 7months of pregnancy.
Anyway when I was about 4 months pregnant,I was admitted to the emergency room and like they always do,they took some blood samples.2 hours later, the doctor came in and asked if i experienced any bleeding at home cause it doesn't show any evidence of pregnancy in my test results.......SAY WHAT?

WELL I BE!!!...............my heart was racing and talk about
PANIC ATTACK.........uh!!!
I insisted that they repeat the test.
Guess what..............lol.........come to find out, they mistaken me for somebody else.Lot of people said that I should've sued the hospital, but I'm not that type. They deeply apologized for the mistake and I was glad to know that my baby was still there.

TALK ABOUT *WORST NEWS*...........lol.
Well to me,that was a hell of a news.

Oh man, that's a hard question. It's not so much the news, just the sudden realization that you have to find a really good way, to overcome what you just heard. Like it's the beginning of a really difficult journey. I'm just so thankful that i have people to care for me in those times. They're the ones who got me through.
