Crying is not a shame at all, but of course men try to control their emotions. Our education,our culture, whatever may be our ethnical or religious background, has taught us not to cry, because a man is expected to be strong and protective.
And in fact I don't think that a crying woman is more "normal" than a crying man.
Many women use the tears as a manipulation tool, while men usually cry for real.

I do it a lot! Men cry a lot.
I have no problem with it... I'm not afraid of my emotions.. sometimes a good cry is needed...
its a natural emotion....and its not good to keep it couped inside..its fine for men to cry
I feel that if the situation justifies crying, then it's ok(death of a loved one, insurmountable pain, tear gas, etc....). But otherwise, he's a b!tch.

after good movies guys can cry, after serious break ups I guess...... I rarely cry at funerals now though...If he's really happy too...I don't think there's anything wrong w/ it. Unless is like some kind of B*tch whining kinda cry....:D

guess it depends what they are crying about. For instance, crying because people are picking on Britney Spears, idiotic, pathetic. Crying because your mom died, more than ok.
we got feelings to.lol we cry but dont let anyone know about it, unless its a really bad situation. then we dont care who sees us cry.

Men have as much right to cry as women. Of course, no one should cry all the time, but if the situation truly merits, then it's reasonable. I don't like to cry in front of other people, but not because I'm ashamed of it, just because I don't like to get all that fake sympathy. I admit it afterwards, more as a point of how deeply I felt about something.
I have always found it ough to cry. I didnt cry at either one of my parent funerals. Though every once in a while I'll drink too mch and have a breakdown and cry my eyes out about everything! So my answer is yes, everyone needs to let there emotions out. Unless you want to end up as screwed up as I am. Taking 2 different antidepressants and an anxiety pill.

there is nothing wrong with it. i just dont do it in public or make an issue out of it. its a normal human release of emotions. any guy who says differently in my opinion is either a liar or has problems
