That would be a yes.....and I hate that when it happens..That is why I now try to "think before I speak"
Oh yeah I tends to do that a lot when I'm trying to break the ice with some I met for the first time or caught in a embarrassment moment.

yes. Very embarrassing. And it was more than mildly inappropriate, unfortunately. It would have been acceptable and understood in my group of friends, but I forgot who I was with when I said it. oops.
"mildly"? Yes...."wildly inappropriate"? Yes...
but, every once in awhile I say something wildly inappropriate that IS funny---my nephew is a fast runner whose favorite taunt was, "betcha can't catch me!" and even when he was young, he was often correct.
On the Fourth of July he fell off a float and was (sorta) run over by a tractor, sustained an injury to his leg, and was hospitalized. When I went to visit him in the hospital late that day he was so pathetic in his bed, and I went up to him and grinned and said, "Bet I can catch you now."
He later told me that that was the moment when he realized that he was going to be alright...but his Dad wanted to kill me...
I got the idea from a former basketball coach who went to visit one of his old players in the hospital who had survived a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head in a suicide attempt. The coach told the player, "I'm not surprised you're still alive---you never could shoot..."
um, if i say no does that make me REALLY rude? if so then i say no.
