Poll.... In Canada they put warning signs on...........?!
Question: cigarette packages not just a written warning but pictures of cancerous lungs and teeth rotting out of their face ,children standing in smoke filled rooms!! Do they do that were your from?? Would it help you quit ??? Just wondering how many people have this kind of thing put on their packs??

i actually seen a programme where they were talking about doing that over here in Ireland.. look like they are taking other countries ideas again,, as usual...... but DO YOU SMOKE DOES IT SCARE YOU???. I REALLY DON'T THINK IT WOULD STOP ANYONE, ITS A PICTURE THEY CAN'T RELATE TO IT,,, JUST LIKE SEEING SOMETHING GORY IN A MOVIE,, DOES NOT BOTHER ME...."ENJOY YOUR CIGARETTE...MISS PATCHES GAVE A GREAT ANSWER THERE YA KNOW... VERY FUNNY......

no they dont but maybe they should but then what would the goverment do with all of the loss of income from duty on ciggies
What made me quit was the effect is was having on my body. I've taken a lot of things to excess and it wasn't pictures of what happened to other people that made me stop any of them.
Am in Canada so I see it all the time and seeing some of those pics makes me glad I don't smoke (The pics are required to take up 50% of the package front)..Pretty gross...I work in a store so I sell them and is funny, I've actually had people ask for packages with specific pics on them, or ask for ones without a specifc pic *LOL*
Just health warning here in Ireland, also boxes of ten cigarettes cant be sold here anymore.
