I'm a little of both too. I'm open minded more? I don't adjust well to change.

I like to think of myself as an open minded person but there are times I have found myself being closed minded about something.

It is alwasy good to be a little of both ends. I am open minded as a prairie field...nothing to block it.
This question cannot be categorised into "open" or "closed" minds. Educational levels, environments, the people around us, our culture (norms, moes, norms, ethics, laws) come into play here. To an extent eveyone is "closed" minded if they have not be exposed to different ideologies and beliefs. This is different to ignorance. Now, ignorance is closed mindedness and brings a whole mass of other problems that contribute to being closed minded. As human beings we are constantly (hopefully) learning and evolving. We change with our experiences. Often, our perceptions change over time. With factual knowledge (and age) comes wisdom. Lastly, how can we judge closed/open minds. It is so SUBJECTIVE. If people don't agree with out own beliefs, do we class them as closed minded? If they agree with us, do we consider them liberal and open minded. Thus, environmental, social & cultural factors combined with subjectiveness is what defines this for each and everyone of us.
