Helen, she used to bag my groceries. They were grayish-blue and like you said...it was the kindness and intelligence that drew me to them and ultimately her in the first place.

as much as I hate to say it my ex boyfriends eyes were really nice. They were green, and he had really defined eyebrows, that made him look as if he were contemplating something. His eyelashes were really long and I thought it was cute.

but live in person I love to look deep into a girls eyes green is my favorite. what appealed to me most was when i got real close. in the depths of that bottomless dark her pupil I saw framed by her crystallized green shades my reflection.
Beauty of course is in the eye of the beholder. I have seen eyes that were clouded over with cataracts so the windows of the soul could not be seen. The true color was blindly cloaked, only that strange whiteness of the cataract remained. What appealed the most was the clarity and intelligence of thought coupled by wisdom that pierced my soul.
My CHILDREN!!!!! and they all have MY EYES!!! Not so much the COLOR, and i have VERY DEEP GREEN eyes, they used to call me 'cat eyes" they are so green! but it is the SHAPE and the long lashes and what is looking OUT at you behind those eyes...compassion.........!!!!
All three of my daughters share my green eyes, but my baby, my only SON, has GORGEOUS SEE-THRU, to cry for opague BABY BLUEs but with the same slant and tilt and sway and shape of MINE......They are ALL 4 gorgeous!
