How do YOU handle people who are never punctual?!

Ive learned that if Im meeting someone whos always about 15 or 20 minutes late, then I show up later too...why wait needlessly?
Or I piss them off by showing up about a half hour later and making them wait. They get a taste of their own medicine.
always tell them to be there 15 minutes before you really need them
if the meeting starts at 3.... tell them 2:45....
etc.

We've got friends (husband & wife) who are alway quite late to any social function we may be having.
They are so bad & hold everyone up that we just start without them now - like at barbecues or dinner parties.
That has actually jolted them into being a little better.
Luckily, I don't have to put up with that much. But I do agree to give them a taste of their own medicine and be there 1/2 an hour late, or tell you'll meet them an hour earlier.
