Immigration: Good, countries need fresh perspectives.
Illegal Immigration: Bad. If someone wants to come into a country, they should follow the laws in place for that. I don't mind the idea that the illegals take the jobs they do. Most of them are jobs most (and this is an American writing this) Amercans won't do or will demand $15 an hour for, which would drive prices up and piss off the rest of the nation that buys those products. (That's why cars cost so much, people.)

i feel like people are assuming that the only people that are illegal immigrating to this country are Mexicans, when Canadians are very well doing it as well!

P.S. what ppl don't realize is that illegal Mexican immigrants ARE paying taxes like everyone else!
I feel that if they are here legally then they have the right to be treated equally but if they are here illegally they need to go back
It's not a good thing when people have to immigrate because of war in their country.
As long as they pay their taxes, raise their children, and abide by the rules the rest of us citizens must abide by, then they're fine.
The problem is when they want tax breaks and welfare and special privileges...that's not right at ALL.

In general- it needs to be reformed. The system is not working, so we need a new system.
When it comes to illegal immigration, I think most politicians are hypocrites. They want to get elected by legals then they stab you and I in the back by catering to the illegals.
We are going to hear a lot of double talk, mumbo jumbo, and lies come this Thursday, Nov 15 on the Democratic presidential debate.
Why is that?
It if were up to me, the criminal CEOs and the illegals would share the same prison cell. They deserve each other.
Those politicians who advocate guest worker program, amnesty, or so called reform are not going to get my vote.
