Why are we so intrigued with "Reality TV" and the drama of strangers?!

Question: You obviously mistake "yourself" for "we." Truth is, "we" aren't intrigued, "you" and a few millions others are. That leaves approx. 285 million of us who aren't. "We," on the other hand, are intrigued by watching NFL Football, college football and even high school football. (..and that includes all 300 million of us - except maybe for you). But then, you would be a Seahawks fan and "we" can't blame "you" for not watching.

people watching is human nature, watch the monkeys at the zoo, they do it all day!...and we were they.

Realty TV doesn't do a thing for me. It may have to now that there are no writers for the 'real' shows. A good book is better than reality TV. Reality TV could leave the planet and I would not try to lasso it back to earth. Reality TV is something you watch when you have no idea what reality is. Reality TV is what you do when you don't have a decent script and you still want people to pay to watch. Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer are better than reality TV. It's a toss up between reality TV and the soap operas. It's enough to make you want to toss the TV through the window.
