Ted Nugent just got back from his wild African Safari & opened for Aerosmith in the Hoosierdome in Indianapolis, Indiana. Run DMC came on to perform a couple of songs with Aerosmith ... of course, "Walk This Way" was the climax of their song set! That was back in 1986 (I had just joined the Navy in August 1985, & after graduating from Boot Camp, got orders to attend the Defense Information School down at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana (just outside of Indy). The concert was attended by thousands, & we had two entire sections filled with young Sailors, Airmen, Soldiers, Marines, Coastguardsmen, & people from other foreign military services whooping it up all night long just off stage left.

TYVM for the 11 pts, and it was my pleasure (I'm retired now)!!! Report It

  • Bad Company..Madison Square Garden, 1979..they rocked the joint.

    Also Led Zeppelin 1978..same venue

U2, Dallas, TX., April 3, 2001! the 4th greatest night of my life! : )

RBD at the Colisseum in Los Angeles Ca.
Open venue, began to rain cats and dogs and all of a sudden it hailed like crazy. Either way one of the best shows ever : ]

Van Halen with Sammy Haggar in 1996. WE bought nosebleed tickets, cause that was all we could afford. A local radio station was giving away front row tickets for the best outfit/accessory using their call letters, so I made these headbands for us with fun foam and battery operated lights. Since we were up in the dark, they could see us, so when we came down for the contest, we got chosen for the front row!

My spouse had a T-shirt that said"Big Tool" on it, and had bought a Van Halen shirt and was wearing that instead, so he threw the Big Tool T shirt up on stage. Sammy took it, commented on it, and kept it!

    Was pretty damn cool.

    That was in Ames, Iowa.

U2 in Columbus, Ohio... 10 years ago. I was a teenager and I saved for months to pay for the ticket and bribed my brother to drive us. I had nose-bleed seats, but I didn't care... I was so happy to have made it...

It was an amazing spectacle. Lasers and jumbo-trons... and a giant lemon made of mirrors. The music was phenomenal and they gave out U2 condoms to the crowd. :)
