Ha Ha! I remember watching it as a kid in the 90's, I had an older friend as a kid that was very tall, and I was young, short, and the smart one, the other kids called us Pinky and the Brain sometimes. I was more like the Brain, so I would say him.
Without Pinky there was no Brain, andv vice versa.
I loved that show when I was a kid.
