Because something within the refridgerator mechanism stopped. Or maybe you blew a circuit. Or maybe a rat chewed the cord to the outlet.
Appliances typically don't last forever.
it might came unplugged..or if its real old it just gave out
It was afraid of long term commitment?
do you have things blocking the vents inside
maybe a circuit breaker on main electrical panel
did temperature dials get moved
If its only a few months old - it should still be under warranty and you can get a professional to tell you. Yipppeeee !! Mine always seem to shoot craps the day after the warranty expires !
An ice maker can cause a lot of problems for some reason. You may need to call a repairman, which I wouldn't want to do either. Good luck!
