No, My dad makes chicharrones all the time, they are good and spicy.
They don't sell those things in this neck of the woods, and boy do I miss them!!!
Cant' even get a whole slab of bacon to make your own, I remember the 16 lb. slabs we'd get as kids, home cured and hickory smoked, luscious! Get down to the last slices, then heat up the lard for the real treat.
