wire wool
Elbow grease.
Mr sheen with a cloth or smooth duster (preferbaly cotton) will do the job!
Duraglit will give you a lovely shine, just dont rub it too hard into the tender bits
Bit of spit and polish and a good rub down with a chamie leather.... ;)

Depends rather on whether you are a Brass section Trombonist or the Elite Silver Bandsman.
A soft cotton cloth and a good rubbing aught to do the job in either case.
