The real albums, or best ofs?!
Question: I was thinking to myself, I LOVE the original albums. I bought the essential Bob Dylan, all the songs were great, but Highway 61 Revisited is AMAZING. The original albums are so much better than best ofs, or essentials? Do you agree? Your thoughts?

the original albums are nice because there are some great songs on there that don't get put on the best of's
depends on the singer and how much i like him/her/them.

Real albums all the way. Best-ofs make me want to eat my own head.
The original album is better if the artist intended the songs to be heard together as a coherent whole. Otherwise, most albums are two good singles and a bunch of filler. You might as well get the "Best Of" and hit the highlights. As the saying goes, 90% of everything is crap.
well on some things there are great albums, but sometimes they suck so I try for the best ofs when I can
