i think a lot of people ask a question and already know what kind of answer they are looking for. if they don't see that particular answer, or one that parallels their own thinking on the subject, they can't bend enough to choose a best answer because in their mind, if it isn't what they believe about the subject, it's wrong.

People are either just lazy, arn't on a lot, or don't think there is a best answer. I always pick a best unless I don't think there is one.

bcuz their too lazy to go back and pick the best answer

?delilah?

For me it's because I forget about the question so it just ends up going into voting.

They want the answer, so they use people for the answer. In the end, that's all they cared about, and they don't award the answerer points.

because they don't take yahoo serious

They might like waithing for other people to come alone and pick the best answer, or maybe looking for a better answer.

i have to assume that they just don't like the answers and decide to let the community pick for them or they just go off to never never land and forget they ever asked a ? and the community picks for them when it has been out there long enough to b voted on.

I ask the same question when I first got on the system. Since then I grown to understand. Some don't have time to pick the best answer because they ask a lot of questions.

*guilty*
