The WORST gift you ever received?!
Question: i know, it's the thought that counts, but let's admit it.. we've all received a gift or two that made us think "WHY THE HELL DID YOU GET ME THAT?"
Mine- for my 13th Birthday my dad gave me a BONZAI plant. I have no interest in plants, never have and he was a day late.. I really wanted to cry I was so disappointed. ( i was disappointed because I felt like he didn't put any thought into it, as i never wanted anything of the sort)
The plant sat on the porch all winter and that is where it met it's demise. I wasn't selfish enough to tell my dad how much i hated it or how disappointed i was, but i think he got the idea.. he never showed up with another plant.

I would have been happy to get a Bonzai plant...those things are cool as hell.
I was givin flavorless gum as a gift, it was a joke but they didnt get me a real gift, isnt that what you are supposed to do when you give a fake gift? Give a real one after?
A used set of shower curtain rings - from my then mother-in-law. WTF?
My brother got me a keychain from a dollar store and my mom got me a toy car for my 16th birthday i thought that was pretty mean since she knew how much i wanted a real car.

My husbands mom years ago gave her mother in a law a cookie jar with a bear on it. Well, a couple of years ago right before Christmas, she passed away. The next year my husbands grandmother (the one that received the cookie jar) actually wrapped it up and gave it back to us. What a cold hearted thing to do, is it not bad enough that my husband loved and lost his mother before Christmas one year then turns around and received the cookie jar she indeed got for his grandmother as a Christmas gift. We won't be going there anymore.
On my 12th birthday my brother gave me a box of rocks.
My mom is a QVC and an HSN junkie...I can't pick an absolute worst gift:(

Haha* That's a pretty odd gift. My worst gift would have to be the gift I got for my 12th birthday. My grandma got me a silver ruler. I was never gonna use it. Haha*

I hate it when people make a donation to some charity in my name. Sometimes I wonder if they actually made a donation, or they are just being stingy with the moolah.
