Skirt meat?!

Question: Help me out here. When I was young and my grandfather used to work at a meat packing plant. He would often bring home what he called skirt meat. It was about 1 inch wide, and 1/2 thick and was rolled up. It was so tasty and tender! I loved it. Anyone know what it is?
