I'm in trouble then because I never dream. Had a sleep study done and the doctor said I never got in the REM stage which is the dream stage. They were very surprised. I always wondered why I didn't dream. They tried to put me on meds then I had such bad nightmares they took me off. :)
I don't think so. I think our dream characters might be more like how we are in real life. Like, they act more like the person feels whereas in real life a person who's really happy might not be smiling and people would think he's grumpy, but in a dream, the guy is happy so he smiles!! Maybe parts of my true self is "revealed" to me in my dreams, but usually my dreams revolve around what's been happening in real life.
