How do you feel about stem cell research?!
Question: Considering I have a fiance and an uncle who are both wheelchair bound (my uncle is paralyzed from the waist down, and my fiance hasn't walked since he was 8 and nearly broke his neck), I think it would be a great thing. Not to mention that some doctors have found a way to harvest the necessary cells without actually harming the fetus.
It also aggrivates me that people say that things like that just shouldn't be done. In places that freeze eggs for mothers, do you know what they do with those eggs when you can't pay your bill anymore?- They go in the trash. I think that is a crime. Instead of throwing away perfectly healthy eggs, why can't they use those to help further the study?

im for it.... in may of this year i was diagnosed with parkinsons . i am 40years old... so i have a long hard road ahead of me. stem cell could change that and could help your family as well, i wish it was in place now and more people being cured of a whole mess of conditions out there...i keep hoping but im not holding my breath either.....good luck to u and ur family....and i feel for u
It's part of the political game of pandering to the ultra-conservatives. Just wait until a U.S. President or other world leader is paralyzed. Then we'll see where they stand on the issue - pun intended.

I am absolutely all for stem cell research. They are developing ways to harvest the stem cells from your own body too...then they grow them in vitro and reinject to the damaged areas. The good it can do is beyond measure...
I totally agree about stupidly throwing away eggs instead of learning from them. Each has the potential to save countless lives down the track...

In 2001 I was diagnosed with ALS & given 2-3 years of life
At that stage of my life I considered flying to China, Russia or Argentina for stem cell treatments as in those countries the treatments are permited
but by the Grace of God I received miracolous healing & no longer have that dreadful illness?
All for it. Isn't it terrible when life enhancing research gets held back because of fearful ignorance.
I fully support it. If it can help cure even one disease or disability it is worth it. It is a much better use of the cells then just disposing of them, which is what is happening. Why not put them to good use and help the people that are here.
