Why do democrats in Congress hate our troops?!
Question: Seriously, it really doesn't matter what you think about the war, whether you're for it or against it. That's not the point.
The point is that we do have troops over seas who are out there fighting this war that the President and CONGRESS sent them to. And now they want to cut off funding unless they can get a bill that ties a withdrawl date to the funding.
Ohhh, you didn't know that, did you? You can point your fingers at Bush all you want, but the fact of the matter is that the president alone cannot start a war, congress has to approve it.
So basically what's going on is that Congress voted to send the soldiers to Iraq, and now they want to starve them and leave them without any weapons, just because they aren't getting their way.
I don't know about you, but there are people I care about over there fighting for ALL OF US, and they should not be left without the things they need to survive.

Please tell me you are kidding. Before they even sent our guys over there I knew were making a huge mistake. But here they are. Now that they are...we can not deny them funding. That is tantamount to abandoning them...politics be d*mned. This can not be allowed to happen.
